Elisan & Kyla - My Models

I can't help it... I have to post pictures of my photo session with my girls.  We needed an updated picture for our Christmas card this year, so of course, I planned a day to take their pictures after church.

Believe it or not, they are not usually willing participants when it comes to being my models, but today, I happened to catch them in the mood!

Here's my 13 year old.  She looks much older in this picture!

My sweet 11 year old.  She is my "sporty" girl.

I wanted to create a Christmas card that showed some of their silly side too.  Kyla is such a ham!

I love how the light turquoise looks with the gold tones.  I bought light turquoise envelopes and a gold metallic sharpie to address the envelopes.  So pretty!

Family Portraits - The Miller's

Here are the Miller's.  Christine contacted me about setting up a family session in her backyard.  Having not seen their backyard, I was a bit nervous going in... as far as the lighting conditions, set up and enough room to get the right shot, etc.  But, once I arrived at their home, I realized that I had nothing to worry about.  They have a beautifully landscaped backyard and it really shows.

I love how this family picture turned out.  It literally was one of the first ones I took of the family during our session.

Here is their 10 year old daughter.  She certainly loved being in front of the camera.  I love this picture because she was kidding around with mom and looking slightly above my shoulder.  I love the candidness of this shot!

Senior Guy - Brock

Here's Brock, a senior at RRCA.  He's an athlete at his school, playing football and baseball.  I had a great time during this session.  He was so relaxed and photogenic.  

This if my favorite photograph of our entire session.  Brock's bright blue eyes against the gray background really stand out.  

I really like this photograph as well.  Again, Brock's most striking feature are his eyes and this picture really brings them out.  I love the letterman jacket and baseball bat in this picture for a more personal expression of Brock's passion.

The Stout Family

This sweet family goes to my church.  Their daughter also attends the same school as my two girls. It was a pleasure taking their family photo.  They were so easy going and fun.  They certainly made my job easy!

James Lantana - 3 weeks old

Introducing this little guy, James Lantana!  He was born 3 weeks early and was is so tiny.  He was wide awake and very wiggly the entire time, but I managed to get several great pictures of him.

I love his big blue eyes in this picture.

And of course, I love this one.  Look at those teeny tiny feet!

Another sweet girl that just turned 13!  Rose is such a beautiful young lady, inside and out!

Elisan

This is my beautiful soon-to-be 13 year old daughter, Elisan.  I am totally in love with this girl and I can't hardly believe that she is almost a teenager.  Be still my heart!

Jordan

This young lady just turned 13 years old!  Jordan is one of my daughter's best friends and I was able to bless her with a photo session celebrating her birthday.  Such a beautiful girl!

Aria

This beautiful young lady is Aria.  Aria's "ALL AMERICAN" look was so easily captured in our session.  Such a delightful young lady to work with!

Hannah

I've known Hannah since she was an itty bitty soccer player on Elisan's u7 soccer team.  I've watched Hannah grow up into a beautiful young lady.

It was a pleasure taking Hannah's pictures because she is such a beautiful girl.  Also, as you can see, very photogenic.

Bluebonnets!

I loved how these turned out.  It was a chilly and windy day and the weather was about to turn worse, with a cold front heading our way.  But, we prevailed and I was able to capture some beautiful and fun pictures of this beautiful family!

Sophie

We have known Sophie since Kindergarten and I've watched her turn into a beautiful young lady.  Sophie is so naturally photogenic... she made my job easy.

Joshua - Senior Portraits

I had the pleasure of working with Joshua this week.  Josh is 18 and a senior graduating in May.  Josh is heading overseas to become a Missionary after graduation.

Josh was such a great sport during our two hour photography session.
